1.5x1.5x1.5 Grodan Rockwool Cubes

Sheet of 98 Cubes. These starter plugs are great for rooting clones or germinating seeds. We recommend soaking them in Europonic Rockwool Conditioner overnight, and add seeds or cuttings the next day. Keep them under a Germination Station to retain moisture and mist if necessary. From here, you can transplant into any growing medium, soil or hydroponics.

Sunshine Mix # 4 Aggregate 

Sunshine Mix # 4 is recommended where high air capacity and fast drainage are needed: during winter months, with highly water or salt sensitive crops, or where frequent leaching is required.

Formulated with Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, coarse grade perlite, gypsum, Dolomitic lime, and our long-lasting wetting agent.

This mix is highly recommended for nursery stock, perennials, cutting propagation, hanging baskets and interiorscape.

Oasis cubes

Made from a special foam similar to  floral foam that promotes excellent air/water balance, Oasis Cubes are excellent for starting seeds or rooting cuttings. Completely pH neutral, Oasis cubes need simply be saturated with water (they hold 40 times their weight) and they are ready for use. 

They are excellent for use in all types of propagation, including seeds and cuttings /clones. Holes are pre-punched and sheets fit in a standard black nursery tray.

The uniform cell structure of Oasis cubes assures proper drainage and water holding capacity for optimum air/water balance for your seedlings or clones.. The modest cation exchange capability of the cubes helps control availability of grower applied fertilizer.  Oasis Cubes are either 1.5" x 1.5" or 1.5" x 1.25" and are sold by the half sheet, full sheet or case. NON-Biodegradable

Perlite

Perlite is puffed sand and can be used as a hydroponic medium for small, lightweight crops such as lettuce. Perlite is often added to a soil mix to improve drainage and aeration.

Ready-Gro Plugs 1.5" x 1.5"

The Ready-Gro plug is made of naturally composted materials, it contains natural beneficial fungi and can be inoculated with other biological controls. It is an optimally aerated medium that naturally maintains the proper air/water ratio to promote healthy growth which will help prevent common water molds and diseases.
